Forums -> Multiple monitors -> Clone Mode on two monitors driven by two cards

I've just succeeded in adding an ATI Expert 98pci driving a secondary monitor along with my ATI Rage Fury Pro agp primary. Extended desktop operation is great, but what I really wanted is Clone Mode so a non-computer knowledgable viewer can watch my surfing in comfort. I chickened out on installing a dual head card (which offers Clone Mode) 'cause I read nothing by rage and fury (intentional pun) from frustrated users trying to get them to work.

I would think it would be duck soup to write a routine to pipe the same data to the inputs of two video cards (for a programmer, that is--which I am not). I can't find anything published or posted.

Any ideas?

The next beta of UltraMon will be able to do this (see the preview), but only on Windows 2000 and XP.
