I have a Dell E4300 laptop in a docking station (lid closed) outputting the video to an external 19" monitor (1280x1024 res) via the VGA output on the docking station. I have the DVI output from the docking station running through a DVI to HDMI adapter to a 52" plasma TV.
The laptop is using the onboard Intel GM45 video and th elatest drivers.
Running Ultramon 2.7.1 I can successfully set up and save a dual-monitor profile, however if I undock the PC, use it then later re-dock it, Ultramon is unable to reset my graphics back to the dual mode and extend to the HDTV. I have to go directly into the Windows graphics settings and click on the "extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor".
I have tried booting up with the HDTV turned on and turned off, etc to no avail. Once the HDTV is disabled, either through running in a single monitor mode or undocked, Ultramon will not bring it back.
Clicking "enable second monitor" in Ultramon will not enable the HDTV, it must be done in the Windows graphics settings directly.
Is there some setting or something I'm overlooking in Ultramon?

Are you using an interlaced resolution for the TV, 1080i etc?

No, the plasma tv is running at 1080p. All controls work through Ultramon except the enable option. If I manually click on disable, it shuts off the feed to the plasma tv, but clicking on enable will bring it back. I don't know if this is an issue with the tv itself or Ultramon or the video drivers in the onboard GM45 video.
If I go into the Windows video settings and click "extend my desktop onto this monitor", it works (albeit in 640x480 and limited color), then I click the dual monitor profile for Ultramon and it will change the resolution and color settings to where it should be. Once the feed to the plasma is disabled, or the laptop is set to single monitor mode or undocked, the dual monitor progile for Ultramon will not bring it back.

For further troubleshooting please post the system information from UltraMon menu > About with the plasma disabled.
