I have several saved profiles. I'd like a certain one to always launch on start up. Is that possible, or does it always launch with the last profile previously selected? Thanks

To set this up, select Display Profiles > Manage Display Profiles from the UltraMon menu, then right-click the profile you want to use, select Edit Display Profile from the menu, then select the Links tab and check 'apply this display profile when logging in'.
This creates a shortcut to the profile under Start Menu > Programs > Startup. If you no longer want the profile to get applied after startup you can just delete the created shortcut.

Thanks very much. Just FYI, when I follow your instructions, the pop-up window I get when I right-click on the profile does not have the option 'apply this display profile when logging in' (it has standard Windows options: Open, Edit, Scan, Send to, Cut, Copy etc..) I am running XP with SP3.
I am OK though, I simply created a shortcut manually and put it the start-up folder, works fine.
Thanks

It's the Edit option, this will allow you to change all profile settings.

That's extremely unintuitive. I can't understand the reasoning of hiding this setting on the Links tab. That's literally the only configuration area I *didn't* look at when I tried to find this setting.
It should be on the Display tab, either as a checkbox or by adding "Set as default profile when logging in" to the list for the "Actions" button. Or add it to the profile object's context menu (i.e. right-click the profile in the Explorer window you see after selecting "Manage Profiles", similar to the way one sets a default printer). Or add a place in the global UltraMon Options to select the default profile from a list.
Just about ANYWHERE other than the Links tab makes more sense!

I agree that this isn't ideal, will be considered for a future release.
