The Aspire uses Intel's Graphics Media Accelerator Driver. Does this driver need to be removed for UltraMon to work? The screen saver does not work and when I go through the Display Properties, 'none' is shown for screen saver. If I use it, either the UltraMon or my Astro Gemini screen saver manager comes up, and then save it, it is not there when I go back to Screen Saver Display.
The Configure Button on the UltraMon taskbar either does not bring up the configure screen or it brings up the Astro Gemini manager.

I'm not familiar with the Astro Gemini screen saver manager, but maybe it sets itself as the active screen saver automatically. I would try if disabling/uninstalling the Astro Gemini screen saver manager fixes the problem.
You can't remove the Intel driver as this is required for the video card, I'm also not aware of any screen saver-related issues caused by the Intel software.
