Hello, 1) can I add the clock to the taskbar on my second monitor? and if so how? Win XP SP3.
2) right-click on Apple's Safari browser (Windows edition)shortcut and clicking on properties doesn't show Ultramon menus. Same thing with Explorer. Thank you.

Not directly, but if you're using version 3 you could add a toolbar like the True Launch Bar, which has a clock plugin.
UltraMon can't customize some types of shortcuts, but you could create a new shortcut for the application via UltraMon menu > Shortcuts.
