is it possible to have the position and size of various windows set to be remembered per monitor?
if not could this feature be added?
currently i'm on laptop but when at home i connect to a desktop monitor. i only use one monitor at a time (never both together).
every time i switch monitors i have to reposition them to my preference for either monitor. this is incredibly annoying because i do it almost daily. it would be great if ultramon would:
1) set the correct size/position depending on which monitor i'm on, when i start app
2) when monitor is switched and app is already running, ultramon re-adjusts the size/position for new monitor
the best i've been able to do with ultramon is set 2 shortcuts for each of my apps, but this is cumbersome and messy

That's not supported directly, but you could configure the application to get shown on the primary monitor on the UltraMon - Window tab, this is an option on the monitor selection list.

the problem is that i can't set size/position per monitor

If you need to be able to set a different position and size for each monitor, ZMover might be worth a try, I'm not sure though if it supports multiple profiles.

hi,
thanks for suggestion of zmover. however as you mention, that program does not support more than one settings or profiles.
perhaps ultramon might one day add support. since ultramon already has profiles, allowing different settings/shortcut associations based on currently active profile would be a big boon
