You could do this with the MirrorMon add-on (regular mirroring only, MirrorMon can't flip the image), to set this up position the MirrorMon window on the right half of the monitor, then select Tools > Mirror Source from the menu and select the option Desktop Area, then select the left half of the monitor with the mouse. You can then start mirroring via File > Start Mirroring.
