How would UltraMon help me with this issue?
I use my laptop to enter golf scores into a golf scoring program. As I do so a leaderboard is visible on my laptop screen as well as the score cards. I would like to attach a PC monitor facing away from my laptop screen so the competitiors can see the results as they are entered.

Mirroring the laptop monitor on the external monitor can be done with UltraMon on Windows 2000/XP, but the video card of your laptop most likely can do this as well, look for the clone mode feature.
