Not certain but I believe that the Ultramon software takes the same memory space or over writes a file of a Hauppauge Overlay card (Wintv 878 chip). Whenever I lauch the video capture software that uses this overlay card and move it off of monitor 1 it will cause the computer to instantly reboot. No blue screen and no event log just a reboot. If I exit out of Ultramon and launch perform the same task the computer stays up and I can use the overlay card. Anyone else have a similar problem. In need of a patch or a solution. Thanks, James

Please check if the problem also occurs if the Smart Taskbar is disabled (UltraMon Options > Smart Taskbar, 'use Smart Taskbar' unchecked).
To see the kernel crash blue screen, you can disable automatic restarting under Control Panel > System > Advanced > Startup and Recovery Settings > System failure. I'm not sure if an entry is made in the event log for every kernel crash.
