I noticed that with version 2.6 of Ultramon that I can no longer move maximized windows from one desktop to the other. This only happens with the Office 2007 programs such as Word and Excel. It still works with Outlook 2007 for some reason. Any idea if this will be fixed in a future release of Ultramon?

I'm going to look into this for the next release, but don't know yet if it can be fixed.
The problem occurs because Office 2007 uses non-standard window title bars.

The Ultramon buttons also seem to refresh strangely and cause strange appearance artifacts in Outlook 2007 when you move the mouse cursor over them (Win2k style Max/Min/Close buttons show up over the Outlook 2007 buttons, then the move to other monitor button disappears).

I'm having the same issue too.
I notice that Outlook 2007 is one of the few apps in the suite that still has the "File Edit..." main menu bar. Maybe this has something to do with why it can still be dragged.

Dragging a maximized Office 2007 app should work fine, make sure you have UltraMon 2.7.1 installed.
Pete, I haven't seen the issue you mentioned, what I'm aware of:
- the buttons don't work at all if the classic visual style is used instead of Windows XP visual style
- the buttons don't work with Outlook 2007 e-mail windows
I'm going to look into those issues for the second 3.0 beta release.

I just downloaded Version 2.7.1 to get ultramon working with Office 2007.
progress: Now the buttons show up.
Error: clicking either button (enlarge or swap screen) causes the button to flicker and the program to lock. by program I do not mean ultramon I mean the program i was trying to reposition. So if I click on a swap button in excel 2007 then excel freezes and I have to kill the process.
I hope they fix this bug soon.
I am running office 2007 on Windows 2003 Server OS.

Just to confirm that changing my XP appearance from Classic to XP fixed the problem for me. I had the same problem, any Excel or MW document froze for a bit when opened and the buttons didn't work.
After managing to open and close, then the traditional buttons worked but not the Ultramon buttons.
Thanks for the fix, now in XP style everything works (I haven't tried Outlook, but Excel and Word anyway)
I suppose I can live with XP style but will appreciate a fix ;)
Thanks, best piece of software I have, by the way.
