I have two monitors on an NVidia GeForce 7900 GT/GTO (and a third on a GeForce4 MX 4000). I'd like to create a keyboard shortcut to switch to horizontal mode for gaming, then back to DualView for normal use.
The reason for wanting the DualView is because I don't like windows maximizing across two monitors as the default. Plus it doesn't match the look of the 3rd monitor. :-)
Is it possible to have UltraMon handle the horizontal span (maybe by disabling on monitor and forcing the other to 2560?) or do I have to do it through NVidia Desktop?
As an alternative, could I keep the two monitors on Horizontal Span all the time, and mimic the look and behavior of DualView with UltraMon?

Currently that's not supported, UltraMon can't change to the video card's span mode.
This is something I'm going to look into for UltraMon 3, but don't know yet if it is actually possible.
Span mode is not supported, most UltraMon features won't be available.
