hi
having some weird problems with 2 monitor config
i am using a nec 19# and a samsung 22#
both are configured at their max resolution.
if i open internet explorer and extended it to both everything is ok.
if i maximize to first monitor(nec)everything is good.
when i maximize to second it works and then after few seconds monitor shutsodnw or goes on and off sometimes stays at off(black screen).
i notices same thing happens if i take 2 internet explorer windows to second monitor and drag one of them to the far right side(my samsung sits on the right side and nec is on the left) it also causes the screen to go black and sometimes not return to displaying picture.
any idea what to look for?

Sounds like a display driver issue, my guess would be that this isn't related to UltraMon.
To verify this, check if you still have the problem without UltraMon running or installed.

hi
i uninstalled ultramon and had same problem
i disconnected one monitor and started from scratch untill i got things working right(no black scren)
installed ultramon again and i noticed it doesnt happen again BUT what causes it to flip is if i increase the resolution on the second monitor(the 22# samsung) to a ahigher resolution then my nec 19# monitor.
if i set them both to same resolution everything works fine.
is this normal?
do i have to set them both to use same resolution?

Using the same resolution for both monitors shouldn't be necessary.
How much RAM does the video card have, and what resolutions are you using for the two monitors?
Maybe you're near the maximum resolution supported by the card.
