I have a Dell Lattitude D620 (1280x800) with NVidia Quadra NVS110 video card. The corporate OS is Windows 2000. I want to connect a second monitor (1920x1200) to the video connector.
Because the OS is Win2k, NVidia's NView does not offer "DualView" as an option. The result is spanning with a 1280x800 monitor on the notebook's LCD display and a 1280x800 "window" on the 1920x1200 LCD display.
I downloaded UltraMon because everybody raves about how good it is at running multiple monitors.
I am at a complete loss as how to male UltraMon do anything.
Do I have to "Exit" NVidia's NView so it "doesn't get in the way" ?
Regards,
Reg.

UltraMon doesn't support span mode, you would need a video card or driver with extended desktop (Dualview) support.
Do you already have the latest Nvidia driver for the card? I haven't used the NVS 110, but for the NVS 285 Nvidia does support Dualview under Windows 2000.
