When Ultramon starts up, it disables my secondary monitor. I can reenable it from the settings or context menu, but I'd prefer it didn't do this at all. How do I stop this from happening?

That's most likely due to something else, maybe a display driver issue. To verify this, please check if you still have the problem without UltraMon installed.

Thanks, you are right that it was not UltraMon, I uninstalled it and it was still happening. The ATI Catalyst Control Center seems to be what was causing it.
