Hi, I'm using a Notebook and an ext. TFT, with Gefore go7600 and Win XP Pro SP2.
When I'm switching to dual monitor manually, all works fine:Icons and Windows-taskbar on the Notebookdisplay=sek. Monitor Manually Switching: right mouse-> activate sek. monitor-> wait one or two seconds -> right mouse -> choose monitor 2=TFT as prim. monitor
When I'm using a profile to switch to the dual view, all Icons and the Windows-taskbar are shown on the wrong monitor(TFT=prim. Monitor). It seems to me, that 'Dual monitor on' and 'change the prim. Monitor', needs a short pause between the commands. Any idea, what I can do, to use Profiles?

Are you using UltraMon display profiles?

Yes, I've created two Profile-Icons with Ultramon on the desktop. 1.) Notebook_Standalone, all Icons and Win-Taskbar on the Notebookdisplay=primary Display 2.) Dualmonitor, all Icons and Win-Taskbar on the Notebookdisplay=now secondary Display and the Ultramon Smarttaskbar on the ext. TFT=now primary Display.
Like writen above, the manually switching from Standalone to Dualmonitor works fine, while a doubleclick on the Dualmonitor-ProfileIcon displays all Icons, the Win-Taskbar and the Smartbar to the ext. Monitor. The Taskbar is then a "Doublelayer - Taskbar"

Please post the system information from the About UltraMon dialog here, with both monitors enabled. You can access the dialog via UltraMon menu > About.

Thanks for the information.
I have now been able to reproduce the issue, does indeed seem to be due to timing.
It would be possible to use a custom script to first enable the secondary monitor, then change the primary monitor after a short delay. Let me know if you would be interested in this.

Yes, a script, that solve the problem, would be nice.

Do you think someone could make a script that would allow me to just use 1x .vbs script to swap Primary/Secondary displays around...
So if Monitor 1 was a Primary display, Monitor 2 was secondary.. I coudl just use the script to swap the Primary to Monitor 2.. and then use the same file again to swap back????

You can do this with the SwitchPrimary script.
