I recently bought a Laptop, and when I attach my tv through s-video, my tv goes black, when my screensaver on my laptop start...
It also goes black when I close my laptop, is it possible to change this?
Since I like to look at movies, on my tv, without my laptopscreen being on all the time...

You could do this by using a screen saver which has no multi-monitor support, you would need to select that screen saver via Display Properties > Screen Saver, not via UltraMon (otherwise the secondary monitor will get blanked by UltraMon).

Please note that all screen savers included with Windows do have multi-monitor support, and will run on both monitors.

Thank you for your reply, didn't think of that, it works, but only when I'm not playing a movie. It seems that, Windows doesn't show a screensaver when a movie is being played, any work-around for that?

Thanks in advance.

You would need a video player which doesn't prevent the screen saver from being turned on, but I don't know if there are any players which support this.

One other thing you could do is to run the screen saver manually using the UltraMon Screen Saver Player add-on.

Fixed it, I found the option to disable the screensaver, in Windows Media Player and Winamp...
So except for the missing overlay function in Vista and the fact my laptopmonitor has to be on all the time, everything works fine now,
thank you very much.
