I'm using the UltraMon beta on Dell Inspiron laptop running Vista. My laptop resolution is 1366x768 and I have a monitor attached at 1680x1050.
If I have a window maximised on my second screen, when I shut the laptop lid and reopen it later, the windows on the second screen are smaller.
They are still technically "maximised" (because they can't be dragged, and clicking the unmaximise button or double clicking on the title bar unmaximises them). But it looks like they are at 1366x768 (ie the size of my first monitor) with the desktop around them.
Similar things happen with the first monitor - they look like a normal window has been resized to fill the screen, ie you can see the thick window borders. All windows are still maximised.
Is this a bug or something I can overcome with setting tweaks?

So far I haven't seen this myself, my guess would be that this isn't related to UltraMon. To verify this, check if you still have the problem without UltraMon running or installed.
Maybe it's related to TMM, see this thread for information on disabling the TMM service.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
With VM turned off it does still happen, so I guess it's not VM's fault.
Unfortunately, disabling that service did not help. After a restart the service is definitely disabled but I still get the same issue.
Anything else I can try?

Here's an image of the problem to make it clearer:

Unfortunately I don't know what else might cause this.
