I am using Webshots
as my screen saver and when I use Ultramon>screensaver>configure I do not see it in the drop down list as I do when I go into display properties>screensaver.
I downloaded Ultramon and on the install I unchecked everything but the screen saver manager.
I wanted to try ultramon because the MultipleMonitor.org website said it would run any screensaver in multiple monitor mode

Thanks

To use the Webshots screen saver with UltraMon, copy webshots.scr from the Webshots folder, usually C:\Program Files\Webshots, to the Windows folder, usually C:\Windows.

UltraMon only lists screen savers which are installed in the Windows and System folders.

Please note that UltraMon can't stretch the screen saver across both monitors, UltraMon will run two instances of the screen saver, one on each monitor.

Did as instructed and now have webshots in drop down. Can choose webshots but only get webshots on once screen not two. Not sure if you would want me to configure the second monitor in the Ultramon>Configure drop down list but can anyway as it is greyed out.
The difference between Webshots running on its own and webshots running under Ultramon is that on it's own the second monitor never changes..it continues to show the desktop. With Ultramon in charge the second monitor goes black but does not show webshots.

Thanks

You'll need to assign Webshots to the secondary monitor as well.

The screen saver on the secondary monitor will run in so-called preview mode (that's how UltraMon enables the screen saver to run on the secondary monitor), but this works fine with Webshots.

The Webshots instance on the primary monitor will work fine both in standard mode and in preview mode.

Got it. When I was in Ultramon>Screensaver>Configure and chose the second monitor and saw nothing in the drop down and saw "Preview Mode" checked and greyed out I did not even try the drop down menu to see if there was content in it. (If it would help dummies like me if the first item in the drop down showed and then a blank was available if you activated the drop down).
I did as you suggested and chose Webshots for second monitor and it works. THanks

Thanks

Do you have a UltraMon menu > Screen Saver > Change menu option?

I set up Webshots yesterday as a multiple screen saver on two monitors........it all works but the second monitor does not select random pictures, where the primary monitor does........the secondary monitor starts screen saver with the first directory of pictures every time, then continues with every directory following......not a big deal....but
