I've found the Vista beta version to be very good. The only problem I'm having is that when I open Windows Explorer the folder window always hangs briefly and contains any image or program behind it for a few seconds. See link for images:

It's not really a big deal, just sort of ruins the look of Explorer a bit.
Any plans for a fix?

I'm seeing this as well, it's probably due to the hooks installed by UltraMon to add things like the window buttons etc.
3.0 Beta 2 will handle hooking differently, and it looks like this issue might be fixed. With the current build the problem no longer occurs, but not all hooks are finished yet so I'm not sure if it will stay that way.

You're absolutely right. I just turned off the options for the window title bar and the problem went away.
I only really use the move window ghost button anyway so if this works in the next version then I will be very happy.
