Supported operating systems: Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, Server 2003. Both 32-bit and 64-bit x64 versions of Windows are supported.

Requirements: if you are using Windows 98/Me or 2000, you may need to install Windows Installer 2.0 or later, which is available from Microsoft for Windows 98/Me and Windows 2000

Supported video cards: UltraMon is video card-independent, but requires that the video card driver provides support for standard multi-monitor mode, span/stretch mode is not supported. Please note that the Matrox DualHead2Go/TripleHead2Go always uses span mode, and so is not supported by UltraMon. See Multi-monitor modes for more information on the various multi-monitor modes.

Trial version limitations: the trial period is limited to 30 days, the software is otherwise fully functional.

Language packs

To install an additional language pack, extract the ZIP file to your UltraMon\Resources directory, usually C:\Program Files\UltraMon\Resources. Make sure that 'Use folder names' (or similar) is checked in your ZIP program. Once the language pack is installed, go to Options > General to change the language.
