I'm trying to help a colleague who isn't seeing a taskbar on her 2nd monitor. I looked at your instructions for Smart Taskbar:missing taskbar, but the first sentence says "right-click an UltraMon taskbar". There is no UltraMon taskbar that I can see on her 2nd screen, so I can't follow the procedure. Is there some way to determine if the taskbar is hidden? Whenever I enable her SmartTaskbar, all the tasks on the other (windows) taskbar disappear. She's using 2.7.1. Thanks.

you will have a "ultramon" icon in your system tray if it is installed and you can right click on that to get to the options to control the task bar.

Right click on Ultramon system tray icon> Select options > go to Smart Taskbar tab > Check "Use Smart Taskbar"
that should do it.

I am having the same problem lately. I enabled the smart taskbar option & there is still no taskbar on the 2nd monitor.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

My issue has been resolved by doing the following instructions from a different post here in the forum:
To let UltraMon create a new default configuration for the Smart Taskbar:
close UltraMon (UltraMon menu > Close) open regedit.exe, the registry editor delete the registry key 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Realtime Soft\UltraMon\Smart Taskbar' restart UltraMon using the UltraMon icon in Start menu > Programs

Thanks a lot everyone! The reg edit took care of the problem.

I'm having the same problem. Tried the regedit and the listed file is not there. In the system tray I show it is already check to have the task bar in the right side.

Which version of UltraMon and Windows are you using?

I was having the same problem with the Smart Taskbar not appearing on one of my monitors after I switched them around. The registry fix solved the problem. Thanks!
