I'm running win98se with ultramon. When I have an Explorer window open and I try to drag a file across the screen divide all of my open windows (both screens) automatically minimize(including the source window)!
(I've also been having problems with QuickTime 5.0- I'm not sure which program is not playing nice yet)

Make sure you don't drag the file across the UltraMon taskbar. If a file is dragged to an empty area of the UltraMon taskbar, UltraMon will show the desktop (the Windows taskbar does the same).

Thanks Christian. That was the issue (dragging it over the smart task bar). The Win98 menu bar actually doesn't cause the same (at least on mine it doesn't). I appreciate the speedy response- gracias.

This will be fixed in the next release. I have just tested on Win98, the problem is that the Win98 taskbar waits approx. 3 times longer than the UltraMon taskbar before showing the desktop. On Windows XP the timing is correct.
