I think I have found the cause for the Smart Taskbar problems several users experienced. If you had any issues with the Smart Taskbar, please install the patch and let me know if the problems went away.
Windows 98/Me: umtbar_w9x_20.1.zip
Windows 2000/XP: umtbar_wnt_20.1.zip
To install the patch, close UltraMon, then extract the ZIP to your UltraMon directory, usually C:\Program Files\UltraMon.

Well, after a couple days of testing with the new patch, I'm beginning to have to same problems with smart taskbar. Bummer.
Only thing that fixes it is to uncheck 'Show tasks from' the monitor and re-check it. Not fun.
Oh well.

it says it cannot find RTSultamonhook.dll,
i'm using the demo version and i have some problems with the secondary taskbar being larger than the primary.

Make sure you have extracted the ZIP to your UltraMon directory, otherwise it won't work.
Regarding taskbar size: on Windows XP with visual styles, the size should match the Windows taskbar exactly. With classic look, it might be off by a few pixels.

it works on some styles but not others (i have a patched uxtheme.dll) so I am able to use non-microsoft styles. It looks realy cool, except the ultramon taskbar is about 6 pixels to big on some of them.
