The subject line pretty much describes the problem. You can reproduce this easily:
1. Click on the secondary Taskbar provided by Ultramon 2. Press Alt+F4
XP provides the following information in the error report window:
AppName: ultramontaskbar.exe AppVer: 2.1.16.0 ModName: ultramontaskbar.exe ModVer: 2.1.16.0 Offset: 00006ece
Exception Information Code: 0xc0000005 Flags: 0x00000000 Address: 0x00406ece
In my opinion there are two different issues here. The first is the crash, which should definitely not be happening. The second is that Alt+F4 closes the secondary taskbar. I would expect that keystroke to have no effect on it.

Thanks for the bug report. This has been fixed for the next release.
Would you want to disable ALT+F4 for the UltraMon taskbar so that you don't close it accidentally?

Short version: absolutely!
I tend to have a bunch of windows open normally and just pound on Alt+F4 until there's nothing left. That's how I found this bug in the first place.
Alternatively, it may make more sense to do the same thing the Windows taskbar does if you press Alt+F4 when it has the focus -- that is, bring up the Shutdown computer dialog. That would be fine with me b/c just one more Alt+F4 would close that dialog as well :)
Thanks for fixing this so fast!

I have disabled ALT+F4 for the next release of the taskbar. You can still close it using the menu of course.
