Using UltraMon 2.2beta 1:
- Running SmartTask bar on secondary monitor
- P4 2.4 / 768MB / WinXPsp1a
- Windows Media Player 9 running in Primary window, in full mode, no visualizations.
- WMP is set to minimize to a taskbar control panel. When I click from Full to Minimized while playing music, it can take up to 30 seconds for the window to minimize, with the CPU running at 100%, usually though it takes between 5 and 10 seconds.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this, WMP9 minimizes immediately to the taskbar control panel. I tested on Windows XP with UltraMon 2.2 Beta 2.
You might want to give it a try with the new beta, 2.2 Beta 2. If you still have the same problem, try if adjusting the Smart Taskbar process priority under Options > Smart Taskbar makes any difference.
