I have Total Recorder Professional Edition 5.1 and Ultramon 2.5.22.0. When I run Total Recorder the program window pops up on my primary monitor like it always did, but the taskbar button shows up on my secondary monitor's smart taskbar.
Also, if I right-click on the taskbar button and hit "Move to Other Monitor" it doesn't do anything. But if I hit the "Move to Other Monitor" button on the top right by the minimize button, the window DOES switch between monitors, but the taskbar button doesn't move ever.
Here's my system settings from Ultramon about: 2 monitors Current desktop: 1824x768 (-800,0 - 1024,768)
Monitor 1 - Plug and Play Monitor (primary): Settings: 1024x768, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: 0,0 - 1024,768. Workspace: 0,0 - 1024,740 Video card: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 (Microsoft Corporation) Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - Plug and Play Monitor: Settings: 800x600, 16-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate Coordinates: -800,0 - 0,600. Workspace: -800,0 - 0,570 Video card: RADEON 7000 / RADEON VE Family (Microsoft Corporation) Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0

Thanks for the bug report, I've been able to reproduce the issues. Will be fixed in the next release if possible.

Just upgraded to version 2.6. Release notes said both of these issues were fixed, but they both are still happening for me.
The only slight difference I see is when I launch Total Recorder, I see a flicker on my primary taskbar (where the button should go) but the button actually appears on the secondary taskbar (the program window does appear on the primary monitor). This may have happened in the last version, but I don't remember it happening.
If you need any more info, let me know. Not a huge deal, just kind of annoying to have one program that doesn't play by the rules. :p

I can't reproduce this with 2.6, both the placement of the taskbar button and the Move to Monitor menu command work fine for me.
Here's what I tested:
UltraMon 2.6, Total Recorder Pro 5.2, Windows XP SP2. Windows taskbar on monitor 1 (primary), UltraMon taskbar on monitor 2.
Total Recorder opened on monitor 1, and the taskbar button was placed on the taskbar on monitor 1.
Let me know if there's anything else I should test. I used default settings after installation for Total Recorder.
