Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Second patch for UltraMon 2.6 released

This second patch includes the first patch, and fixes the following additional issues:

- slow application startup and multiple Microsoft AntiSpyware icons in the system tray

- I-Logix Rhapsody uses 100% CPU

If you had issues with other applications using 100% CPU or becoming unresponsive, please install the patch and test if the problem has been fixed.

If you have downloaded UltraMon 2.6 on June 18 or later, you should already have the latest version and don't need the patch.

To check if the patch is needed, go to your UltraMon installation folder, usually C:\Program Files\UltraMon, right-click RTSUltraMonHook.dll and select Properties, then check which version you have installed.

If version 2.6.25.0 is installed, you already have the latest version and don't need the patch.

If version 2.6.24.0 or 2.6.23.0 is installed, download the correct patch for your system:

For Windows 98/Me: UltraMon26_x32_w9x_patch2.zip
For Windows 2000/XP/2003: UltraMon26_x32_wnt_patch2.zip
For 64-bit Windows x64: UltraMon26_x64_patch2.zip

Installing the patch:

1) close UltraMon
2) extract the ZIP file to your UltraMon installation folder

If you get an error message when trying to replace a file, rename the existing file, then extract the new file from the ZIP. You'll be able to delete the renamed file after logging off or rebooting.
