I'm using Vista with the beta ultramon, on a 3 monitor system. When using ultramon to set the wallpaper, a weird things happens such that the right side of the taskbar, near the system tray, is the correct transparency, but the right side is a much brighter transparency. It does not matte what background or colour I have set, but the majority of the taskbar is a very bright transparency, almost white.
I could try using Vista for wallpapers, but for some reason it does not get the monitor order correct and tiles them the wrong order on the monitors.

I've seen this as well, looks like a Vista issue. You should also see this when setting up the wallpaper manually.
Regarding the tile issue: this happens if one of the monitors is to the left of the primary monitor.
